A DRIVER has expressed her frustration after finding out her license had been suspended for more than a year.
The Florida-based TikToker shared a “story time” video about what she was dealing with from inside her vehicle.
Simonee Niomi (@simoneeniomi) added screen text over the clip saying that she was leaving court at the time.
“Leaving court,” it read.
“Getting a ticket drop for suspended drivers license.”
In the video, she started by telling viewers that she was about to find herself something to eat.
“I came to court for literally four minutes,” the TikToker said.
“To just drop a ticket.”
She went on to express that it wasn’t her fault, though.
The creator asked viewers to listen to her give a little bit of a story-time moment about the citation.
“I got a ticket on New Years night because my driver’s license was suspended for a year and a freaking half,” she shared.
“And I did not know it.”
Niomi went on to say she’d been driving around the state and had no clue.
Insurance experts at CheapInsurance.com gave their best advise on Wisconsin’s ABC affiliate WBAY.
There are three ways experts say drivers can go about keeping a traffic ticket off their record.
Drivers may be able to avoid their insurance bumps by attending defensive driving courses to try and save money, some people may be able to get the court to back up their increased payments.
The final way driving pros say car owners can keep citations of their records is making an insurance shift.
