Hailee Steinfeld’s Go-to Workout Keeps Her Coming Back for More

Hailee Steinfeld is a powerhouse in both her singing and acting career. At the age of 13, she starred in True Grit, and her role was nominated for an Oscar. Steinfeld’s other notable film roles include the Pitch Perfect franchise, Bumblebee, The Edge of Seventeen, Ender’s Game, and Romeo & Juliet. Outside of her professional life, Steinfeld recently got engaged to Buffalo Bills quarterback, Josh Allen. Oh—and she stays incredibly fit. In fact, her dad is a personal trainer and the actress often works out with him.

Here are several things Steinfeld does to keep herself in top shape.

1. Steinfeld Keeps Her Go-to Workouts Attainable

We never said the actress necessarily loves working out, but she is a major fan of the endorphins she gets from a solid exercise session.

“I love the feeling I get after I work out. For me, it’s definitely become a priority mentally more than physically. You just happen to reap these physical benefits that are wonderful and your body thanks you for,” she told Women’s Health.

As far as the star’s go-to workouts are concerned, she doesn’t have a strict weekly workout routine—it all depends on how much time she has. This makes things attainable.

“If it’s 15 minutes, perfect. We can do more in 15 minutes than we can just sitting on the couch,” Steinfeld said.

2. She Circuit Trains

Twenty-eight-year-old Steinfeld spilled some of her other fitness secrets during her Women’s Health interview. We learned that circuit training is one of the celeb’s go-to’s.

“I like the variation,” Steinfeld explained. “If I get stuck doing the same routine every day, then I get bored very quickly, so I keep it changing and keep it evolving.”

3. She Asks Her PT Dad For Advice

Steinfeld’s father, Peter, is a successful personal trainer. The star told Women’s Health that she often goes to him for fitness tips and advice.

“I’ll be like, ‘Dad, I saw this equipment or this movement or this regimen.’ They’re normally overly complicated, and you don’t realize that when you see somebody who’s just advertising the end result of that regimen. So he’s able to simplify, depending on what the goals are,” she shared.

4. She’s Consistent

Another key part of Steinfeld’s fitness regimen? Consistency. The celeb told Women’s Health that she’s learned to work out even on days when she can’t make it to the gym.

“That’s another thing my dad has made so clear to me: You don’t have to be in a gym to get in a good workout. Something can be done anytime with a couple of books and a chair,” she explained.

5. She Prepares Healthy Meals

In addition to working out, Steinfeld makes sure to consume a nutritious diet.

“I’ve gotten more into cooking, so understanding the preparation of your food is so important,” she told the outlet. “But I love a simple protein and a little carbohydrate. A veggie, a green juice, a summer salad.”
