Hailee Steinfeld is looking forward to her days off. Her most recent Instagram story proves it. In it, Steinfeld shared a photo from another account of a shoot she did. Steinfeld revealed some of her favorite skincare tips to Vogue. She says that she is always learning new things. “I’ve been working my whole life, [or] what feels like my whole life, and so I’ve traveled and had different people in different parts of the world do my make-up in different ways, doing different techniques. I think it’s become more and more important to me, but I’ve always been really obsessed with taking care of my skin and making sure that it is the best that it can be.”
One of Steinfeld’s biggest skincare secrets? Protecting her skin from the sun. “The number-one beauty tip I’ve received from my mom is to wear sunscreen,” she says to New Beauty. “I never leave my house without this. I have this in my bag at all times. It’s so important.”
Steinfeld revealed her wellness secrets to Women’s Health. She revealed how she approaches eating, and her relationship with exercise and food. “I eat so that I can train,” she says. “I don’t train so that I can eat. And I feel I can perform to the best of my ability if I have that mindset.”
Steinfeld tells Women’s Health that she does a lot of different wellness practices and ideas. She says that she always changes things up to keep herself invested and interested. “I’m ready to switch it up, though. I can only do the same thing seven times in a row.”
When it comes to working out, Steinfeld makes sure to push herself. “I’ve never left a workout or a gym session feeling anything other than great and happier,” Steinfeld says to Women’s Health. “Just knowing what my body is capable of and being able to challenge myself…It does something for you mentally that not a lot of other things do.”
