MMA National Champion, 2X Worlds Gold Medalist, and best selling author, Jenae Noonan, is the definition of goals. She took to social media, saying “8 weeks out till I jump on a plane and head to the World Games!!! Total different focus now that it’s go time! 14 lbs away from fight weight! GUYS!!! S&@/! Getting real!! 8 freaken weeks!! Let’s go!!! Bringing home a mother f’n gold!! 🥇🥇🥇🥇🥇,” on Instagram. Keeping spirits high and being dedicated to her fitness goals are just two of the ways that Noonan keeps herself fit.
She’s a fighter, as seen in this video of her boxing captioned, “Get up and fight!!!!,” on Instagram. She really pushes herself in the gym, mentally and physically. “When you’re feeling tense and frustrated, a good workout can help. Fitness boxing, which is a form of exercise that has roots in traditional boxing, offers a safe outlet for your emotions — not to mention an awesome workout,” according to the Cleveland Clinic.
She prioritizes boxing during her workouts, letting off some steam while getting a good sweat session in. “Little motivation for you.. sometimes all you gotta do to get back up is remember who the bleep you are 💪💪,” she said on Instagram on a video of her boxing.
She enjoys cycling to maintain her fit physique. “Just over here thinking about all the adventures I want to go on with my bike. I guess you can say things are starting to get serious, like we get along really well, he likes adventures as much as I do, he puts up with my complaining, yeah I might have found the one…..,” she said on Instagram.
It’s important to her to find adventure. “Been busy ✔️ing off those bucket list goals! Def the most amazing waterfall I’ve seen.. gotta take life by the balls and make it your b$:@- lol… take that trip, write that book, make that call, take that leap, go for your dreams, don’t let fear stop you.. as a great philosopher once said “don’t be scared homie”… oh and if anyone has plans to propose to me, this would be perfect,” she said on Instagram.
She sets goals and works towards them. “Still all smiles from my very first triathlon. Thanks for the amazing photos @corbinography . There’s so many things I learned from this adventure. I truly learned to enjoy the journey. Although I had a blast racing I think the training was the best part. Pushing myself daily, being amongst friends and having my uncle along for this ride made the training fun! It was very difficult but sometimes the things with great reward can be most challenging. It all started with day one on a bike. Dreams and goals always start with just one small step. My advice today is don’t let the challenge stop you, don’t let the difficult times or daunting task make you quit. Keep the goal in mind and remember why you are doing it in the first place and let that motivate you to push through.. you got this,” she said on Instagram.
