Selling Sunset star Chrishell Stause doesn’t skip her workouts even while on a much-deserved vacation. Stause, 42, shared pictures of herself on a trip with best friend Emma Hernan, including one snap of herself posing in a white workout skirt and matching tank top. “I Googled my symptoms and turns out I just needed a vacation 😜😅,” she captioned the post. “How is my bestie so hot AND perfect?!?!?!?!!! I LOVE YOU!!!! 🤩” Hernan commented. Here’s what Stause’s wellness regimen looks like.
Stause does HIIT workouts with personal trainer Ocho (real name Nyme Manns). “She has been killing my programme since we first started,” Ocho tells Women’s Health. “Her drive, determination and work ethic mean she adapts and destroys everything I put her through… A week of workouts for Chrishell can vary. Her schedule is very hectic, so we get in what we can, and HIIT training is one of the most efficient ways she can build muscle and burn fat at the same time.”
Ocho expects his clients to give 100 percent, and says Stause never disappoints. “We do heavyweight and plyometrics, as well as HIIT, so that her body is always moving and so that she never gets bulky, but still gains strength,” Ocho tells Women’s Health. I always keep workouts fun, creative and challenging. I’m always throwing something different at Chrishell to challenge her. The way I feel is, ‘If you aren’t being challenged by your trainer, what do you have him for?'”
Stause is open about her cosmetic skin treatments. “I’ve been to Dr. Diamond for the Diamond Facial,” she told Refinery29. “It makes the skin rough for a couple days after, but the results are great. It helps with skin cell turnover and rejuvenates the face, making it super smooth. I get Botox every 5 months, and I’m about to try Emface, which I’ve heard a lot about. It uses electric currents to stimulate the muscles.”
Stause’s rest days are active recovery—for example with long walks and Pilates. “She has at least two or three rest days per week,” Ocho tells Women’s Health. “We do a dynamic warm up for at least 10 minutes before every workout,’ he says. ‘I make sure Chrishell is mobile and stable before each workout, to get the body warm and prepared for the work she’s about to put in.”
Stause has few regrets about being on reality TV, especially as she met some of her best friends through Selling Sunset. “The show has been such a blessing, and of course, at times it’s hard,” she told Molly Sims. “It brings drama to your life that you wouldn’t normally have. I feel like I have gotten to a place where I’m so grateful for what the show has brought. It has pros and cons and the pros are way better than the cons. When I was on the show, I didn’t want to do anything that would give me anxiety. But when we had to do stuff to go outside to promote the show I chose not to go. So I took a stance of I’m not going to do it if I don’t want to. Emma is my ride or die. We became so close so fast. We live close. We’re both single and she’s a caretaker and so am I.”
