Ashley Hebert was one of the leads on the popular series, The Bachelorette. Last month, she enjoyed a trip to beautiful Turks and Caicos. Last month, she also shared highlights on Instagram. In them, she did some paddleboarding. Hebert wore a black swimsuit in them, looking stunning. She captioned the post, “On board in Turks.” How does she stay so fit? Read on to see 5 ways Ashley Hebert stays in shape and the photos that prove they work.
Hebert shared her go-to workouts in an interview with HollywoodLife. “Lifting weights burns more calories than cardio,” she said. The Mayo Clinic states that strength training has a lot of benefits. “Strength training may enhance your quality of life and improve your ability to do everyday activities. Strength training can also protect your joints from injury. Building muscle also can contribute to better balance and may reduce your risk of falls. This can help you maintain independence as you age.”
Hebert opened up about her diet in an interview with DailyMail. “I eat very healthy. I am not going into Drive-Thrus and downing burgers and fries. My meals are really clean. I don’t think of it as dieting because I get to eat as much as I want, I don’t think about it. I don’t have a diet plan or follow any rules. I just eat healthy. I never feel hungry or like I am giving something up.”
Hebert shared some of her favorite foods in an interview with Shape Magazine. She says that she loves to make smoothies. “I throw anything healthy into a blender and make a fruit smoothie, or a protein shake.” Families Together for Orange County states that smoothies have a lot of benefits. “Smoothies can be made with a variety of fruits, vegetables, and other nutrient-rich ingredients, making them a great source of vitamins, minerals, and, of course, a great source of antioxidants. Depending on the ingredients you choose, smoothies can be an excellent source of fiber, protein, healthy fats, and other essential nutrients that your body needs to function optimally.”
Hebert shared her favorite healthy breakfast with Shape Magazine. “Everyday I eat cottage cheese with fruit, like mango or mandarin oranges.” OSF Healthcare states that cottage cheese has a lot of benefits. “Cottage cheese is high in protein and is an excellent source of calcium. Choosing a low-fat cottage cheese can reduce saturated fat intake when substituting it for other higher fat foods, such as cream cheese, sour cream, mayonnaise or ricotta cheese. It’s also full of vitamins and minerals that support a healthy diet. It contains vitamins like phosphorus, potassium and vitamin B12.”
As you can see from her recent post, Hebert likes to swim. She also shared this reel of herself swimming in a hotel pool. Hebert captioned the post, “Find light in the beautiful sea. I choose to be happy.” Hebert also posted this video of herself diving into a pool while on a trip to Mykonos. She captioned that post, “Caught a vibe.”
