ZZ Top have added new US dates to their globe-trotting Elevation Tour, slated to begin with an extensive series of already-announced appearances in Australia and New Zealand. The Texas trio’s latest additions will take them to the Midwest and the cusp of the Pacific Northwest in August.
According to the band’s current touring schedule, their new US gigs will take place after they have completed the Canadian leg of their Elevation Tour. After an evening, June 27, at The Centre in Casino New Brunswick, the group will take a few days away from the stage before resuming their summer commitments on Aug 1 at Buffalo Chip Campground in Sturgis, S.D.
The band will participate in previously unveiled follow-ups in Sioux City, Iowa, before arriving at Red Rocks in Morrison, Colo., on August 4. The aforementioned show preludes its newly announced date, August 6, at the Stiefel Theatre for the Performing Arts in Salina, Kan.
The band will follow up on August 10 with another new gig, at Pinewood Bowl Amphitheater – Lincoln, Neb. Making their way West, ZZ Top will perform in Salt Lake City on August 13, before the final date of their Elevation Tour, August 14 at Portneuf Health Trust Amphitheatre in Pocatello, Idaho.
