Vampire Weekend have announced summer tour dates. Following the success of their fifth studio album, Only God Was Above Us (Columbia Records), and a subsequent run in 2024, the group has added a tour extension to support their latest music. The band’s calendar reflects extensive festival commitments, flanking a set of 11 US concerts, with support from Geese and Turnstile at select stops.
Following late spring appearances at Just Like Heaven and Boston Calling festivals, Vampire Weekend will pick up their initial solo stand for the 2025 edition of the Only God Was Above Us Tour at Midway Lawn in Burlington, Vt. Remaining in the Northeast, the band will arrive at Thompson’s Point in Portland, Maine, on May 29 before a two-night stand in The City of Brotherly Love on May 30 and 31.
On June 2, the group will present a show at Columbus, then return to the Keystone State for an evening on Stage AE in Pittsburgh on June 3. They will continue the run at Saratoga Springs, N.Y.’s Broadview Stage at SPAC, with follow-up slates for Firefly Distillery in Charleston, S.C., and Asheville Yards Amphitheater in Asheville, N.C.
On June 12, Vampire Weekend will perform at Daily’s Place in Jacksonville, Fla., ahead of their Miami gig on June 13 at FPL Solar Amphitheater. After closing out their solo dates, they will travel to Europe for several festival appearances. Back on US turf, the band will take part in a final trio of festival dates: Borderland Festival, Iron Blossom Festival, and Oceans Calling.
