Today, American psychedelic rock The Flaming Lips have announced a new string of tour dates to feature a special performance of their seminal album Yoshimi Battles the Pink Robots in its entirety in celebration of the 20th-anniversary of the LP’s release.
The tour will see the band perform in the U.K. and North America, starting with a performance at the Troxy in London on April 25. They’ll make stops in cities like Nashville, Tenn., Boston, Washington D.C., Atlanta, Chicago, Tulsa, Seattle, Los Angeles, Portland, Ore., and more. The tour will come to a close at the Kettlehouse Amphitheater in Bonner, Mont., on Aug. 25.
Notably, two highly sought-after EPs by The Flaming Lips- Fight Test and Ego Tripping at the Gates of Hell—will become available on limited edition vinyl for the first time on March 17 and can be pre-ordered here. While the 6-CD/5-LP box set Yoshimi Battles the Pink Robots: 20th Anniversary Edition will arrive on April 14.
