Testament have announced an intimate Spring 2025 US tour. The outing will find the thrash veterans performing their 1989 album Practice What You Preach in its entirety, along with telling stories and playing deep cuts from other LPs.
The tour, dubbed “An Evening with Testament,” kicks off April 30th in Tucson, Arizona, and wraps up May 25th in San Diego, hitting such cities as Indianapolis, Brooklyn, Baltimore, and Austin along the way.
An artist pre-sale and Live Nation pre-sale both begin on Wednesday (March 5th) at 10 a.m. local time using the codes PREACH and FUNKY, respectively. A general on-sale starts Friday (March 7th) at 10 a.m. local time via Ticketmaster.
Testament are celebrating Practice What You Preach‘s 35th anniversary (a year late). The album marked the band’s third studio LP and commercial breakthrough., featuring the singles “Greenhouse Effect”, “The Ballad,” and the title track.
Singer Chuck Billy stated, “We are getting ready to Practice What WE Preach across the US this May. We will be performing the album Practice What You Preach, we will tell stories and play a few acoustic tunes and finish out with a best of deep cuts. This will be an evening with Testament you don’t want to miss, Horns Up!”
Guitarist Eric Peterson added, “This will be a night to remember! Like all of our shows, we have a great time, but an evening with Testament will mean just that! Story telling, deep cuts never before heard, plus Practice What You Preach was a milestone for us, and now will be performed in its entirety. We’ll have some cool tales to tell about making the record and where we were at during that time in our career.”
In addition to the “An Evening with Testament” shows, the band is playing the Sonic Temple and Welcome to Rockville festivals in May.
