At this point in “The Eras Tour,” Swifties are accustomed to Taylor Swift digging deep for an amazing surprise song or two. At tonight’s closing performance of an eight-show run at London’s famed Wembley Stadium, fans received an extra special surprise when Florence Welch joined the stage to perform “Florida!!!” Watch the clip below.
This marks the first-ever live performance of the track, which appears on Swift’s 2024 album, The Tortured Poets Department. With her appearance, Welch joins a long, illustrious string of surprise guests from throughout “The Eras Tour,” with other recent duets including Hayley Williams of Paramore and, earlier this week, longtime friend Ed Sheeran.
Recent weeks have proven especially emotional for Swift and her fans, as a recent terror plot prompted the cancellation of multiple stops on “The Eras Tour” in Vienna, Austria. Additionally, after a stabbing attack at a Swift-themed dance class in the UK, the artist carved out time to meet with the families of the victims backstage.
Swift will get a brief break before “The Eras Tour” returns to North America for concerts in Miami, New Orleans, Indianapolis, Toronto, and Vancouver. You can find last-minute tickets here.
