Shakira falls onstage at Montreal concert in brutal blunder

That’s gonna leave a mark.

Shakira took a bad fall while she was performing at the Bell Centre in Montreal last week on her Las Mujeres Ya No Lloran World Tour.

In a fan-captured video, the 48-year-old superstar was dancing to her hit song “Whenever, Whenever” on stage when she lost her balance and fell to the floor.

But the Grammy winner quickly got up and continued on with her performance.

The incident went viral, with many fans commenting on Shakira’s quick recovery.

“She handled it like the boss that she is,” one fan wrote on X (formerly Twitter).

“A great example of resilience! I hope she didn’t get injured,” another person said.

Shakira even embraced the mishap by sharing a video of her fall on her Instagram Stories.

“She’s so real for this! Instead of being ashamed she decides to share it herself. Queen, if you ask me,” a different fan wrote.

Shakira launched her Las Mujeres Ya No Lloran tour in Rio de Janiero, Brazil on February 11.

After her first two shows, she postponed one of her tour dates at the Estadio Nacional in Lima, Peru due to being hospitalized for an abdominal issue.

“I am sorry to inform you all that last night I had to go to the ER for an abdominal issue,” she wrote on Instagram Feb. 16.

“The doctors whose care I am currently under have communicated that I am not in good enough condition to perform this evening,” Shakira continued. “I am very sad to not be able to take the stage today. I have been looking forward to reuniting with my incredible fans here in Peru.”

In March, she canceled two more shows in Santiago, Chile because of stage production issues.

“You can only imagine how painful it is for me as an artist after so much effort to come to a country I love and have to reprogram my show for circumstances out of my and my production team’s control,” she wrote in a statement.

Shakira’s tour also made headlines over concertgoers who attended her May 15 concert at MetLife Stadium in New Jersey allegedly being exposed to the measles.

The NJ Department of Health issued an advisory stating that an out-of-state resident who attended the sold-out show was diagnosed with the highly contagious virus.

The sickly patron attended the concert from 7:30 p.m. to 1 a.m., Garden State officials said, though it’s unclear where the fan was seated inside the 82,500 capacity stadium.

Shakira has not publicly commented on the measles advisory.
