Outside Lands has announced its Night Shows schedule, a favored moonlit offering which goes back to 2009. The forthcoming offering gives attendees a unique and intimate opportunity to see festival participants perform around the Bay Area during the festival week–August 7-11. The newly dropped dates unveil 16 performances spread across nine venues, including a special pre-main stage appearance from Sturgill Simpson, who will play at the 500-capacity Independent venue in San Francisco on Saturday, August 10.
Prior to Simpson’s highly anticipated delivery, fellow Outside Lands participants will complement the schedule with their own sets, including the initial Night Shows date, which will feature Confidence Man on Wednesday, August 7, at The Independent. The following evening, Amen Dunes, with Hyperdawn, will fill the entertainment slot before Friday’s stand from Fletcher and an onslaught of DJ sets. See below.
On August 10, the same night Simpson plays, a plethora of additional performances will run across the city, including Snakehips with Truthlive at Public Works, Roosevelt at Bimbo’s 365 Club, and Sofia Kourtesis at Space 550. The final night, August 11, will feature STRFKR with Ruth Radelet at The Independent, as well as Uncle Waffles with Afrobeats Oakland at 1015 FOLSOM, and finally, Corinne Bailey Rae at Bimbo’s 365 Club.
