This year’s lineup will welcome moe. as Friday night’s headliner, Lotus as Saturday night’s, and Lettuce as the headliner for the closing day on Sunday. The event will also welcome Karl Denson’s Tiny Universe, Antibalas, Dopapod, Trouble No More, Keller Williams, Doom Flamingo, Melt, Brandon “Taz” Niederauer, Neighbor, LemonCity Trio, Afro Beta, Guavatron, Shira Elias and Cool Cool Cool – who are set to make their debut at Brooklyn Comes Alive in Brooklyn, N.Y. this September.
“We’re over the moon to return to Miami Beach for our second year of North Beach Music Festival,” shared North Beach Music Festiva co-founder, Gideon Plotnicki in a press release. “South Florida, in general, has been starved for an event like this for far too long, and we are more than happy to plant our flag as the home of jam bands, funk music, and beyond in the region. We are proud to feature a lineup with such a dynamic cross-section of what this corner of the live music community is all about. moe., Lettuce and Lotus are all trailblazers at the forefront of their respective genres—progressive rock, live electronic music, and future funk—and we are so excited for what should be three unforgettable nights with these champions of improvisational music.”
Along with the extra evening North Beach Music Festival also plans to have extended set times with sets lasting 75 minutes or longer.
