MERYL Streep and Martin Short have been spotted holding hands, sparking rumors that the actors are dating.
The moment happened Thursday at the Only Murders in the Building Season 4 premiere after-party in Los Angeles.
A video surfaced on social media of Meryl, 75, and Martin, 74, looking extra comfortable with one another as they walked the red carpet.
They didn’t let go of each other’s hand and smiled as their costar, Steve Martin, 79, walked beside them.
Photos from the evening also showed Meryl and Martin seemingly glued at the hip while posing for the cameras.
The Academy Award-winning actress wore a gray, flowy, ankle-length dress with a black belt and white flats.

She completed the look with black-framed eyeglasses and her blond hair flowing straight down.
Martin rocked a black suit, a maroon tie, and black shoes to the event.
NEW ROMANCE?
Fans grew suspicious of the duo’s coziness and wondered if a relationship was brewing between them.
“Ooooohhhh…are they together-together?” one person asked on X.
“I love this for them so much,” gushed another.
“They’re holding hands! It’s true,” a third added.
While Meryl and Martin have been friends for years, they appeared to have gotten closer since costarring in the Hulu series.
Martin portrays the series lead, Oliver Putnam, and Meryl joined Season 3, playing Loretta Durkin.
Chatter that the pair were dating began in January when they were seated next to each other at the Golden Globes.
Three months earlier, it was revealed that Meryl had split from her husband of 45 years, Don Glummer.

Martin has been a widower since his wife, Nancy Dolman, died of ovarian cancer in 2010.
Although it appeared that their longtime friendship possibly turned into something more, Martin’s reps denied the rumors, telling People they are “just very good friends, nothing more.”
The Father of the Bride star also addressed the speculation during an appearance on the Club Random with Bill Maher podcast.
“We’re not a couple. We are just very close friends,” Martin clarified.
However, their working together in OMITB – and being on-screen love interests – wasn’t a coincidence, as Martin previously revealed to People that Meryl called him to ask for her part.
“The story with Meryl is she phoned me and said, ‘I want to be on it,'” Martin told the outlet.
“They already planned that I would have a theatrical experience and there would be a love interest. So that was coincidental, but she just wanted to be on the show. She didn’t know about [the love story].”
