‘It would mean a lot’

In her final video, Maddy shared a TikTok captioned, “it would mean a lot if you stay with me until the end.”

She shared that she hadn’t taken a bath “in a year,” detailing her cancer diagnosis and the surgery to get a colostomy bag, which prevented her from bathing.

Maddy also added that she’d gone to Kyoto, Japan in March.

“I’m on earth for a limited amount of time,” she said, vowing to seize the day.

“In regard to treatment/chemotherapy the carbotax was no longer effective,” Carissa wrote.

“She recently began a new cycle of Folfox/CaPox. She has only been able to complete one round but will be tackling that as soon as she has a complete care plan and is discharged.

“Your continued prayers, thoughts, encouragement and compassion are working miracles and carry a force of energy in an uncontrollable and unpredictable reality.

“Thank you for continuing to follow and support Madison’s quest forward,” she concluded.

Maddy Baloy’s mom, Carissa Talmege, shared to Facebook on April 9 that Maddy’s condition became “critical” after a trip to Japan with her fiancé, Louis Risher.

“Receiving repeated care and responses by both Oncology teams and multi hospital visits, her condition became even more critical when she was no longer able to eat or drink – digest anything and virtually totally immoblile,” Carissa wrote.

“At this point ‘we’ knew as a team we could get answers and get back quality of life. I flew in late Thursday and we headed to the ER early morning.

“Quickly admitted and advocated by a mamas determination, Madi pushed answers and long term solutions. By Friday, a plan was in motion. Madi received an ultrasound that immediately verified she had massive ascites drowning her abdomen.

“The Internist ordered an MRI, consult w pain management and a paracentesis ‘stat’. Yesterday, an unprecedented 13.8 lbs or 6.3 liters of ascites was drained from Mada’s abdomen.

“An MRI was postponed for today and the Pain Mngmt Doctor will be here this afternoon/evening for continued discussion as Madison navigates her ongoing pain management.”

Maddy Baloy’s mom, Carissa Talmege, shared an update on Maddy’s health to Facebook on April 9 after the TikToker went on a trip to Japan with her fiancé, Louis Risher.

“Fortunately it has been a while that we have had any updates or changes in relation to Madison’s health,” Carissa wrote in the post.

“However, towards the end of their trip (she and Louis) to Japan, Madison began to experience ‘new’ and increasing pain.

“By the time she touched down, she went to the ER fearing she was filling w ascites (malignant fluid). She was admitted, given pain medication and after a CT w contrast basically told there is a small amount of ascites not enough to drain and sent home.

“Over the last 5 weeks she would be forced to repeat her efforts going to different hospitals in the area and afar begging for answers as her pain became excruciating and she became increasingly immobile.”

Maddy got her wish of meeting Gordon Ramsay

In one of her highly viewed videos, Baloy listed 19 out of her 20 bucket list items.

These ranged from getting a tattoo with her grandma and experiencing a “beautiful wedding” to meeting celebrity chef Gordon Ramsay.

Baloy’s dream of meeting Ramsay came true in February. Ramsay arranged for her to visit Miami, where they dined at one of his Hell’s Kitchen establishments and attended the opening of his new restaurant, Lucky Cat, in South Beach.

They even collaborated on a TikTok video, featuring Ramsay twirling Baloy before embracing her.

“I hope you had the best time,” Ramsay wrote in the caption of his post.
