Ludacris Wears Big Arms for First Pitch at Atlanta Braves Game

Move, pitch, get out the way: Ludacris brought back the big arms from his 2004 “Get Back” video while throwing out the first pitch at the Atlanta Braves game on Wednesday night (September 4th).

Adding to the spectacle, the rapper stomped to the mound ahead of his hometown team’s matchup against the Colorado Rockies in the oversized Nike Air Force 1s from his “Stand Up” video. Quite impressively, he appeared to fire a pitch that wound up just off home plate.

It was all part of a night celebrating the Atlanta legend in which the first 15,000 fans who arrived at Truist Park received a Ludacris bobblehead. Check out a video and photos from the evening’s festivities below.

Directed by Spike Jonze, Luda’s “Get Back” video was released to promote the first single from his 2004 album, The Red Light District. In the clip, the swollen-armed artist fends off an overzealous fan in the bathroom before triumphantly taking to the streets. Revisit it below.

Ludacris hasn’t released a studio album since 2015’s Ludaversal, but he’s still actively touring. See his upcoming dates below, and get tickets here.
