Influencer Gino Molina’s sudden death leaves family asking for help as Strength Cartel team honor his memory

THE sudden death of fitness influencer Gino Molina has left his family heartbroken and in need of support.

Strength Cartel, a supplement and fitness apparel brand that Molina worked with broke the news on Instagram.

‘UNIMAGINABLE LOSS’

The group has since posted a fundraiser for Molina’s “devastated” family on GoFundMe.

“In the early morning hours of May 27, 2024, [Molina] tragically entered into the kingdom of Heaven, leaving those who loved him so dearly,” the page reads.

“As his family and friends struggle to comprehend this unimaginable loss, we ask for support to lay David to rest.”

The fundraiser notes that all funds will go to his immediate family for funeral and service costs.

“Your kindness and generosity will help ease the financial burden on David’s family and allow them to focus on healing and remembering the beautiful moments they shared with him,” Strength Cartel added.

So far, over $2,900 has been raised of the $20,000 target in just nine hours of the fundraiser being set up.

SISTER’S HEARTBREAK

Paying tribute to her brother on Facebook, Yvonne Molina posted numerous family photos as she admitted her “heart is shattered” by his death.

“You took a piece of me with you brother my heart is shattered in a million pieces I can’t express what I’m feeling just that I want to stop breathing I want to close my eyes and wake up and hear you calling me SISTER!,” Yvonne wrote.

“I love you so very much you were my other half you always called on me I wish I could have protected you!

“Until we see each other again I will forever hold your legacy you were one of a kind! Rest In paradise now BROTHER.”

Meanwhile, loyal fans have vowed to do a hundred push-ups every day for a month to honor Molino who created fitness and workout content that earned him the nickname “Push-up King.”

The cause of his death has not been revealed but some fans are convinced that on some level Molina knew what was going to happen.

TRAGIC FINAL POST

Just hours before his death, the influencer posted a video on Instagram in which he spoke directly to followers about life.

Standing on a pier in the evening, Molina told those “fighting for their lives” to “keep your head up.”

“Sometimes in life, we take things for granted and we don’t realize that sometimes people don’t get a second chance,” the influencer said.

“Sometimes we don’t even know how fast things can be taken away from us.”

In his reflection, Molina explained how he could have still been stuck in a place “doing stupid things instead of being out here enjoying life.”

The influencer previously spent 13 years in prison during which he said he was often in solitary confinement.

In 2008 he was convicted by a jury of possession of a firearm by a felon and of gang enhancement.

“I fell off, took a lot of things for granted but now I have snapped back out of it, trying to see at the same time that life is good,” Molina added in his final post.

“Gotta keep on striving no matter what. Gotta keep on going. Some people don’t get that chance.”

The U.S. Sun has contacted Molina’s family for comment.
