Here’s The Complete List Of 2025 Tony Awards Winners

A theater season defined by thrilling dramas, splashy musicals and even a last-minute controversy came to a close Sunday with the 2025 Tony Awards, Broadway’s biggest night.

The evening’s big winner was “Maybe Happy Ending,” which picked up a total of six awards, including Best Musical and Best Actor in a Musical for one of its principal stars, Darren Criss.

As for the much-scrutinized race for Best Actress in a Musical, Nicole Scherzinger triumphed over fellow presumed front-runner Audra McDonald. Meanwhile, Cole Escola continued their “Oh, Mary!” victory lap by picking up Best Actor in a Play, becoming the first nonbinary winner in the category, while Best Play went to the Branden Jacobs-Jenkins drama “Purpose.”

This year’s ceremony was hosted by Cynthia Erivo, a Tony winner for “The Color Purple” who defied gravity on the big screen as Elphaba in the film adaptation of “Wicked” last year. There was no shortage of Hollywood star power, with Best Actress in a Play winner Sarah Snook among those who showcased their talents on the New York stage this year.

For many viewers, the evening’s highlight was an epic medley of “Hamilton” songs, performed by Lin-Manuel Miranda, Leslie Odom Jr., Renée Elise Goldsberry, Jonathan Groff and other original cast members to mark the musical’s 10th anniversary.
