The young fashion influencer had suffered from an ovarian abscess, which is a deadly and severe infection.

Laleska’s shock death came on the same evening she was rushed to the hospital.

Her funeral was held at the Anjo da Guarda home, in Juazeiro do Norte, on Wednesday evening.

Laleska was buried in the city of Barro, around 70 kilometres east of where she died, on Thursday morning.

The content creator had amassed nearly 25,000 followers on social media and was known for her fashion and lifestyle posts.

Laleska’s deadly condition, also known as a tubo-ovarian abscess, is an inflammatory mass involving the fallopian tube and ovary.

This can lead to a pelvic inflammatory disease which can become life-threatening if it is not treated quickly.

In severe cases, the abscess can rupture, leading to the potentially fatal systemic infection called sepsis.

Women experiencing symptoms such as severe pelvic pain, fever, or unusual discharge should seek medical care promptly.

Regular gynaecological check-ups can aid in early detection and treatment of such infections.
