Dream Theater have announced 2025 North American dates for their 40th anniversary tour.
The North American leg kicks off February 7th in Philadelphia and runs through March 22nd with a concert at Radio City Music Hall in New York City. It will mark the band’s first stateside run with drummer Mike Portnoy in 14 years.

A Live Nation ticket pre-sale for select dates begins Wednesday (September 11th) at 10 a.m. local time using the code SETLIST. General ticket sales start Friday (September 13th) at 10 a.m. local time via Ticketmaster. Fans can also look for deals or get tickets to sold-out dates via StubHub, where your purchase is 100% guaranteed through StubHub’s Fan Protect program.
Stated the band in a press release: “The excitement we have felt from the fans since the first tour was announced has been overwhelming! Now we get to bring the show to our home country and play a bunch of cities that we haven’t been together in for more than a decade. We can’t wait to continue this historic celebration of 40 years together with everyone in North America next year. As previously reported, Dream Theater announced their 40th anniversary tour — billed as “An Evening with Dream Theater” — with an initial leg of Fall 2024 UK/European dates that kick off in October. Those shows will be followed by a short run of South American gigs in December.
