Lotus have unveiled the 2024 artist lineup for their annual Summerdance Music Festival. The 16th occasion will return to Nelson Ledges Quarry Park in Garrettsville, Ohio, from August 30 through September 1, 2024. The jamtronica vets’ flagship event will see the host band perform two sets each evening, focusing on new material from their recently announced studio LP, How to Dream in Color, due July 11.
In addition to a total of six frames from the hosts, their festival lineup expands to include various acts from the jam and electronic music scenes, such as Dopapod, The Motet, Perpetual Groove, and Spafford. Rounding out the list of signed-on acts are Octave Cat, Sugar Nova, Blendmode, DJ U-Lock, Lotus’ Tim Palmieri’s solo frame, Drunken Doja Monkey with Mike Greenfield, Big Blitz and the Chalk Dinosaur Ensemble.
The location for Summerdance embraces nature with picturesque surroundings in the lush Nelson Ledges Quarry Park. Besides music, the event caters to outdoor enthusiasts with wooded camping, hiking, mountain biking, swimming, and beach activities, allowing a slowdown and promoting relaxation before the daily influx of music.
Besides the mention of their impending full-length release, Lotus intends to deliver their live sound far and wide during the warm months, including an appearance at the Golden Road Gathering in Placerville, Calif., which preludes a series of Colorado dates, and ultimately an East Coast return and scattered festival appearances.
Tickets for Summerdance 2024 are on sale now.
