'Apartment 7A' Premiere Date Set At Paramount+

Paramount+ on Tuesday announced that its psychological thriller Apartment 7A, starring Golden Globe winner Julia Garner (Ozark), will premiere on the platform in the U.S. on Friday, September 27, coming to additional international markets later this year.

The streamer also unveiled a series of first-look stills from the pic, which you can view above and below.

Set in 1965 New York City, Apartment 7A tells the story prior to the legendary horror classic Rosemary’s Baby, exploring what happened in the infamous Bramford building before Rosemary moved in.

An ambitious young dancer, Terry Gionoffrio (Garner) dreams of fame and fortune in New York City, but after suffering a devastating injury, an older, wealthy couple (Dianne Wiest and Kevin McNally) welcomes her into their home in the luxury apartment building the Bramford. When a fellow resident and influential Broadway producer (Jim Sturgess) offers her another chance at fame, it seems that all her dreams are finally coming true. However, after an evening she can’t fully remember, disturbing circumstances soon have her second-guessing the sacrifices she’s willing to make for her career as she realizes that something evil is living not only in Apartment 7A, but in the Bramford itself.

A Paramount+ original movie in association with Paramount Pictures, Apartment 7A is a Platinum Dunes / Sunday Night Production. Natalie Erika James (Relic) directed from her script written with Christian White and Skylar James, which is based on a screen story by James, as well as Ira Levin’s classic novel Rosemary’s Baby. Additional supporting cast includes Marli Siu (Everything I Know About Love), Andrew Buchan (All the Money in the World), Rosy McEwen (Blue Jean) and Kobna Holdbrook-Smith (Wonka).

John Krasinski, Allyson Seeger, Michael Bay, Andrew Form and Brad Fuller produced, with Vicki Dee Rock and Alexa Ginsburg serving as executive producers.
