One summer tour isn’t cool.
You know what’s cool?
And that’s exactly what indie rock super group Boygenius have going this year.
First, Phoebe Bridgers, Lucy Dacus and Julien Baker are taking part in the star-studded Re:SET Concert Series alongside fellow headliners LCD Soundsystem and Steve Lacy up until June 25.
That includes a stop at Queens’ Forest Hills Stadium with special guests Clairo and Dijon on Saturday, June 17.
Then after that mini-tour wraps, the three best pals will tour on their own from June 20 through Aug. 23 flanked by big name opening acts like Carly Rae Jepsen, Broken Social Scene, Bartees Strange, Claud and Illuminati Hotties.
Finally, they’ll join forces once again to end their long summer at Columbia, MD’s All Things Go Festival on Oct. 1.
How much does it cost to see the “Not Strong Enough” rockers live?

Boygenius new music
Earlier this year, Boygenius dropped their first official album, appropriately titled “the record.”
Comprised of 12 songs, the ladies kick off the rockin’ collection of tunes with the stripped down, vocals-only “Without You Without Them.”
After that, the guitars kick in and we’re on our way.
The album then alternates between uplifting anthems like “$20” tp the melancholy, trippy ballads “Emily I’m Sorry” and “True Blue.”
For our money, the acoustic, earnest, swirling “Revolution O” is the true standout track on the album though.
When all is said and done, Boygenius closes with the bittersweet, emotional finale “Letter To An Old Poet.”
If you haven’t had a chance to hear “the record” in its entirety, you can take it all in here as many times as you want.
