Las Vegas is unofficially known as the “Entertainment Capital of the World.”

And, one could make the case that the “Capital of the Capital” is the MSG Sphere.

Completed in September 2023, the eye-catching, globe-shaped venue has become the go-to destination for live music having housed legendary acts like U2, Phish and Dead and Company in its first ten months.

Next up, James Dolan’s 20,000-seat marvel will host legendary classic rockers The Eagles from September through January as well as rapidly rising EDM icon Anyma for six New Years Eve shows at the end of the year.

Even though Sphere brings in huge names worthy of longstanding residencies, fans keep flocking to the one-of-a-kind space for its larger-than-life 360-degree high res custom visuals and state-of-the-art audio.

“Each seat (is) the best in the house due to the ultra-resolution audio flow pumped by Holoplot — a specialized sound system that aims to change the future of live performances,” the New York Post’s Alex Mitchell reported.

“This means standing next to the stage won’t blow out your eardrums and sitting high up feels like you’re next to the stage.”

If you need to experience Sphere live — and trust us, you need to experience Sphere live — tickets are available for all upcoming concerts and film screenings.

At the time of publication, the lowest price we could find on any one ticket was $182 before fees on Vivid Seats.

Other shows typically start in the $200 to $300 range before fees.

Other shows at the Las Vegas Sphere

On off-nights, we recommend catching a screening of Academy Award-nominated director Darren Aronofsky’s immersive hour-long film “Postcard From Earth” at the bucket list site.

“Think IMAX, to the nth degree,” the New York Post’s Sophie Cannon said in her glowing review. “Audience members are seated in the circular auditorium and come face to face with shockingly lifelike images and videos, chairs vibrate with each onscreen explosion, and wind is pumped into the room as rockets take off or storms brew.”

Planning a Las Vegas trip but don’t know when you can catch a ‘Postcard From Earth’ show? You can find a complete calendar of all events at the Sphere here.
