What So Not is turning his 2025 North American tour into a platform for aspiring artists by crowdsourcing his opening acts, he announced on social media.
Instead of relying on industry insiders or booking agencies, the Australian electronic music virtuoso has invited “young, aspiring artists” to drop their details directly in the comments section of an Instagram post. These local DJs and producers will be considered for a performance slot as part of his upcoming North American tour, “Motions.”
The tour is scheduled to begin this Friday, January 31st in Chicago before heading to San Francisco, Washington DC, Seattle, Los Angeles and Las Vegas, among other major cities. Check out the full list of dates below.

What So Not’s “Motions” tour represents a golden opportunity for grassroots artists to share the stage with one of the electronic music scene’s most innovative producers. The tour derives from his stunning EP of the same name, which released in August 2024.
Back in early-2023, What So Not developed his own series of immersive raves. The ambitious concept, “Anomaly: Immersive Mode,” is now prevalently considered a fan-favorite.
