Justin Bieber has dropped off a short Cole Bennet-directed music video for his new track “I Feel Funny.”
“Justin randomly texted me this song one day and said ‘should we do a visual to this? song straight to number 1.’ We joked around about doing a video for it but never did,” Bennet said of how the video started to come together. “A few weeks later we were doing a pick up day for a video we had recently shot, but never finished (Honest). We had a bit of time switching over from scene to scene. So, I went into his trailer and said “Remember that song you sent me? Let’s shoot a video for it on my phone in between takes of the actual video.” … The rest was history. Enjoy.”
The iPhone-shot video sees Bieber rocking an orange balaclava and features a cameo from Don Toliver. Bieber and Toliver previously linked on the track “Don’t Go” with Skrillex.
In the visuals for “I Feel Funny,” Bieber teases that his forthcoming collab with Toliver, which is titled “Honest,” is set to arrive “very very very soon.”
Bieber released his sixth studio album Justice back in March of 2021. The project debuted atop the Billboard 200 by moving 154,000 equivalent album units in its first week out and featured appearances from Chance the Rapper, Khalid, Dominic Fike, the Kid Laroi, Giveon, Beam, Daniel Caesar, Benny Blanco, and Burna Boy.
