Joyner Lucas breaks off another track from his long-awaited sophomore album.
The Massachusetts native kicked off the weekend with the release of his “Blackout” single, featuring Future. Joyner began teasing the release on social media Tuesday, sharing a still from the track’s official video.
“I can’t hide my pain no more, this shit gon’ make me lash out,” Joyner raps in the opening verse. “I ain’t playin’ games no more, I really might just blackout/She can’t feel her legs no more, I blew her fuckin’ back out.”
The hard-hitting cut will land on Not Now, I’m Busy, the follow-up to Joyner’s 2020 debut album ADHD. The rapper announced the effort about a month ago, when he delivered his “Devil’s Work Part 2” track, which addressed everything from Kobe Bryant’s death to Brittney Griner’s arrest to the infamous Oscars slap.
Joyner has not confirmed an official drop date for his sophomore album.
