Vory’s new song “Daylight” has arrived.
As fans will note, the track—featuring the artist formerly known as Kanye West—was initially expected to be a part of the larger Donda experience last year. As has since been confirmed, however, the song will now live as the second track on Vory’s Lost Souls album, which is slated for release this Friday.
Stream “Daylight” above via YouTube and/or below via Spotify. The song is also available via all other major streamers.
Lost Souls also includes features from Landstrip Chip, Fresco, Beam, Nav, and Yung Bleu. The latter two appear on the previously released “Do Not Disturb,” which was rolled out earlier this month as the new album’s first single. Back in April, Vory was enlisted by fellow Donda collaborator Fivio Foreign for the B.I.B.L.E. track “Changed on Me” alongside Polo G.
Last October, Vory made headlines for his response to viral photos showing Ye boarding a commercial flight at LAX. “Ye told me he been traveling solo commercial on some normal shit,” Vory said in an Instagram Stories update at the time, noting that he initially “thought he was capping” until seeing the photos.
Ye, meanwhile, is fresh off the release of a new song with the late XXXTentacion (“True Love”) and the worldwide launch of new Yeezy Gap Engineered by Balenciaga pieces. This month also saw the announcement of Ye collaborating with designer Naoto Fukasawa to “reimagine McDonald’s packaging.”
