Glasgow alt-rockers Twin Atlantic has surprise-released a brand new single, ‘Salvation,’ just in time for a summer filled with major festival appearances and headline dates.

Arriving via their own label, Staple Diet, ‘Salvation’ delivers an uplifting jolt of anthemic energy amid an increasingly chaotic world. Opening with a rousing declaration—“Take me to the top, the shoulders of my nation!”—the track is a call to collective resilience and hope. It captures the band’s signature blend of powerful vocals, dynamic instrumentation, and emotional urgency, reminding them of music’s ability to unite and inspire.

Band’s bassist Ross McNae says:

“There’s plenty to be angry about in the world today, but we still believe in the power of music to make a difference.”

The release coincides with the exciting return of Twin Atlantic’s original lineup, including drummer Craig Kneale, for the first time since 2021. The band will hit the road this summer with a string of high-profile live shows including sets at Slam Dunk, Download Festival, Isle of Wight, TRNSMT, and 2000 Trees, along with select headline dates across the UK.

Sam McTrusty adds:

“It’s great to have Craig back in the band for these live shows!”

‘Salvation’ arrives as the band continues work on their eighth studio album, following the success of their 2024 UK Top 10 record, Meltdown. As a standalone single, ‘Salvation’ reaffirms Twin Atlantic’s knack for crafting emotionally charged rock anthems that resonate with fans both old and new.
