Toronto R&B singer Realestk’s mystique further developed today with the release of his debut album Dreams 2 Reality.
Self-anointed as “Toronto’s Secret” on his social media, the mysterious crooner meticulously dives deeper into his mythos, recounting tender moments and missed opportunities across the album’s 14 tracks.
On Realestk’s Instagram, he posted a short message expressing his gratitude to his team, his peers, and his patient fans.
With no features, Dreams 2 Reality serves as a short introduction to Realestk’s world.
In 2021, when Realestk had a song go viral on TikTok, many prominent figures from Toronto reached out to him.
“Every label was at my neck,” he told Complex Canada in an interview from earlier this year. “You had artists like Drake hit me up, his producers, and then you had people that were managing The Weeknd hit me up, and I was just like, ‘What’s going on?’”
In September, fellow Toronto rapper Nav brought Realestk out to one of his shows where they performed their song “Lost Me” from Nav’s album Demons Protected By Angels.
