Andrea Bocelli and his family will deliver a special festive TikTok LIVE performance from Mont Blanc in the Italian Alps.
TikTok will present an exclusive Christmas performance by Italian tenor Andrea Bocelli, his 25-year-old son Matteo and 10-year-old daughter Virginia on December 15 at 5 pm GMT. The family will perform from Mont Blanc, the highest mountain in the Alps, on the border between Italy and France.
One of the most beloved tenors of all time, Andrea Bocelli — along with his son Matteo, a promising international singer-songwriter, and daughter Virginia, the latest addition to the talented Bocelli family — release their latest album, A Family Christmas, captures the festive spirit with new renditions of traditional carols arranged for all three voices.
The TikTok LIVE presentation will see the Bocelli family performing from Skyway Monte Bianco at 11,371 feet high as the trio present a festive special with Christmas classics and music from their first album together, A Family Christmas.
The three Bocelli singers are no strangers to TikTok, with over 600,000 followers combined, regularly engaging with the TikTok community by sharing behind-the-scenes clips with family and incredible performances.
“This has to be the most beautiful and challenging location we’ve ever performed in. To say it will be cold is an understatement, but we couldn’t miss out on this incredible opportunity to sing together at the top of the Italian Alps,” says the Bocelli family. “This is going to be such a unique experience, and even with the wind whipping our faces, we couldn’t help but feel the warmth and magic of the Christmas season.”
A Family Christmas was released on October 21 on Decca/Capitol Records to celebrate the family’s multiple generations of musical talent. The Mont Blanc concert will be 100% sustainable thanks to the use of entirely renewable energy made available by CVA, the Valle D’Aosta water company.
TikTok has also launched its #ClassicalMusic hashtag to spotlight talented artists and musicians like the Bocelli family, who shape the genre and create incredible classical music to share on the platform. The hashtag has already amassed an impressive 2.3 billion views as a home for classical music lovers to congregate and celebrate their favorite genre.
