It’s time to reveal more of the great stories behind some of the greatest songs of all time, as The Story Behind the Song podcast is returning for Season 3! The hit Consequence Podcast Network series will return on Monday, September 9th with a brand new slate of interviews with some of your favorite artists.
For Season 3, host Peter Csathy of Deep Cuts Media will sit down with some of music’s most iconic songwriters to reveal the first-hand stories behind some of history’s most enduring hits. Get ready for amazing episodes featuring Incubus, Graham Nash, DEVO, Moby, The Church, and ZEDD. To kick things off, we’re have a special duel-guest episode, as The Cranberries’ Fergal Lawler and CHVRCHES’ Iain Cook join us to discuss the unforgettable “Linger,” which Cook remixed earlier this year.
As was the case with Season 2 of The Story Behind the Song, we’ll be releasing fresh episodes every other week. In between, we’ll be cracking open the vault to pull one of our favorite episodes from the archives. In fact, we’ve already unleashed one classic, as Tears for Fears’ Roland Orzabal takes us through the smash hit “Mad World” — including its fantastic Gary Jules reimagining.
