Tchami and Malaa have finally found redemption in the form of a brand-new collaborative album, Veni Vidi Vici.
The album’s title embraces one of the most renowned quotes from ancient Roman times. A testament to decisive victory, it’s a rallying cry about emerging triumphant—a credo to which fans of the duo have always related due to their hedonistic house music.
It’s hard to believe it’s been six years since Tchami and Malaa released their No Redemption EP. The concept, which shared a name with the duo’s 2018 tour, ultimately took on a life of its own and became a staple of the live dance music circuit. It remains so as the French superstars prepare to activate it at Miami Music Week as well as a handful of major festivals, including SoCal’s Beyond Wonderland and HARD Summer.
Tchami’s only other album is his debut, the scintillating Year Zero, which dropped back in late-2020. The same goes for his balaclava-clad compatriot, whose debut album, 2022’s Don Malaa, stunned with its innovative hip-house sound.
Veni Vidi Vici is scheduled to release on March 22nd, 2024. Check out the official reveal below.
