Swedish House Mafia are heading to Ibiza this summer for a historic DJ residency at the fabled Ushuaïa, one of the world’s top clubbing destinations.
After performing just once at Ushuaïa last summer, the legendary electronic music trio will perform every Sunday from July 21st to August 25th for their first Ibiza residency in over a decade. They join the club’s roster of high-profile 2024 residencies hosted by the likes of Calvin Harris, David Guetta, Armin van Buuren and more.
In addition to the six-week residency, Axwell, Sebastian Ingrosso and Steve Angello are set to perform as Swedish House Mafia at a handful of major international music festivals, including Garorock, Panama Open Air and UNTOLD.
2022’s release of Paradise Again, Swedish House Mafia’s long-awaited debut album, lit the fuse of an extraordinary comeback for the band, whose explosive 2013 disbandment numbed the electronic dance music community at large. Prior to the split, they had operated as the world’s quintessential electronic music act after becoming the first to headline Madison Square Garden and perform on Coachella’s iconic main stage.
The group’s legacy has since reached new heights. They returned to Coachella in 2022 to headline the festival alongside The Weekend before teaming up with the chart-topping singer to collaborate on a song for James Cameron’s record-breaking Avatar: The Way of Water film.
