Emo stalwarts Sunny Day Real Estate have announced a new leg of 2025 North American tour dates going down throughout the summer and early fall.
The band originally reunited in 2022 for their first tour in 12 years, and have remained active in the three years following. Last year, the group embarked on a 30th anniversary tour celebrating their debut album Diary, and revealed their first new song in 10 years, “Novum Vetus.” They also headlined the inaugural edition of Las Vegas’ Best Friends Forever festival and joined Deftones in San Diego for their Dia de los Deftones event.

Now, the group is planning on hitting cities they’ve missed in their prior reunion runs. While the last tour was centered around Diary, they say the new run of shows will be “celebrating songs from all of our records and more,” and it includes “some cities we haven’t been to in a while, or ever!”
The tour kicks off on May 28th in Montreal, and continues through May and early June with shows in Toronto, Albany, Portland (Maine), Buffalo, Asbury Park, Richmond, and Wilmington. After a pair of UK dates performing at both the London and Manchester editions of Outbreak fest, Sunny Day Real Estate head back to the US in September to complete their 2025 tour with shows in Tacoma, Boise, Sacramento, Santa Cruz, Phoenix, Salt Lake City, Boulder, Spokane, and more. The run ends with a September 24th show in Vancouver; see the band’s full list of tour dates below.
Tickets for Sunny Day Real Estate’s 2025 tour will first be available via an artist pre-sale beginning today, March 11th, at 12:00 p.m. local time; fans can sign up for pre-sale access on the band’s official website (use code SDRE25). A Live Nation pre-sale is also available for select dates beginning on Wednesday, March 12th at 10:00 a.m. local time (use code FUNKY). Tickets will go on sale for the general public on Friday, March 14th at 10:00 a.m. local time via Ticketmaster.
