As promised, Trippie Redd has returned with a full-length project.
The Ohio-born rapper took to Instagram on Monday to announce his fifth studio album, Mansion Musik, executive produced by Chief Keef. Trippie teased the effort by unveiling its 25-song tracklist and said he would share the release date after fans commented “#MM” 80,000 times. Hours after his followers came through, Trippie posted Mansion Musik’s cover art and confirmed it would arrive by the end of the week.
“2MARROW MIDNIGHT#MM LETS GO UPPYYYYY,” he captioned the art. “Make this your profile picture and comment #MM ?MM !MM $MM.”
Artists including Drake, G Herbo, and Ski Mask the Slump God took to the comments to express their excitement.
The fast-approaching release date was, of course, a welcome surprise for fans, who’ve been waiting for the follow-up to 2021’s Trip at Knight.
Nearly every Mansion Musik track has a guest, with two features apiece from Future, Lil Baby, Kodak Black, and Chief Keef, with additional appearances from Travis Scott, Lil Durk, the late Juice WRLD, and Nardo Wick, plus Ski Mask and Herbo. Per a press release, the album pays homage to Keef’s 2018 Mansion Musick mixtape.
