Spiritbox have unveiled the new single “Soft Spine” as they gear up for a North American tour with Korn and Gojira.
The stand-alone track comes less than a week before the outing kicks off on September 12th in Tampa, Florida. Spiritbox will open each show, with Gojira providing direct support to headliners Korn (pick up tickets here).
The blistering “Soft Spine” finds singer Courtney LaPlante in full scream mode, as the song delves into extreme metal territory. It’s the Canadian band’s first new music since last year’s The Fear of Fear EP, save for a guest spot on Megan Thee Stallion’s “Cobra” remix.
While a proper full-length follow-up to Spirtibox’s 2021 debut album, Eternal Blue, has yet to be announced, a press release promises “more exciting things to come from the band in the near future.”
Following their tour with Korn and Gojira, Spiritbox will support Bring Me the Horizon on a couple of Latin American dates in November and December. In February, they’ll launch their own UK/European headlining tour.
