South Korean Girl Group (G)I-DLE Tops NetEase Cloud Music Sales Charts

South Korean girl group (G)I-DLE tops the NetEase Cloud Music charts with 300,000 copies sold of their latest mini-album.

Chinese online music platform NetEase Cloud Music has announced that the latest mini-album from South Korean girl group (G)I-DLE has dominated the platform’s 2023 charts with 300,000 copies sold. The six-song mini-album titled “I FEEL” debuted on NetEase Cloud Music on May 15, 2023, rapidly amassing more than 20 million streams.

The platform has offered virtual customized features specific to the album across NetEase Cloud Music, including profile photo decoration, a pink theme, and exclusive images and videos. Meanwhile, the company issued digital LED billboards in central commercial districts across five cities globally to “deepen user engagement and establish closer connections between musicians and their fans.”

(G)I-DLE has soared in popularity across the platform since the debut of their full-length album, I NEVER DIE, and their fifth mini-album, “I LOVE.” Digital sales from those two releases and the most recent mini-album have exceeded 1.5 million copies sold on NetEase Cloud Music, accumulating over 264 million streams.
