Billy Corgan has announced details of his new podcast, titled The Magnificent Others. Among the Smashing Pumpkins frontman’s initial guests will be Gene Simmons, Corey Feldman, and Tom Morello.
It was reported last year that Corgan and Limp Bizkit singer Fred Durst had each inked deals to launch podcasts on
Bill Maher’s Club Random Studios network. Now, the details on Corgan’s podcast have been revealed.
The Magnificent Others with Billy Corgan will launch with its first episode on February 5th. Among the other guests slated to appear on the podcast are Ministry’s Al Jourgensen, Zakk Wylde, Pat Benatar and Neil Giraldo, Richie Sambora, Stone Temple Pilots’ Dean and Robert DeLeo, Sharon Osbourne, Carnie Wilson, and more.
According to a press release, “Through in-depth, candid conversations, all captured on camera in a unique, engaging way, Billy and his guests peel back the layers of success in captivating in-person interviews, exploring the triumphs, challenges, and pivotal moments that shaped their journeys and defined their paths.”
Corgan recently made headlines a guest on the Howie Mandel Does Stuff podcast, where he suggested that he may be the half-brother of comedian Bill Burr. He later surprised Burr during the latter’s appearance on Mandel’s podcast, where the two tried to determine if they were indeed related.
As of now, the Smashing Pumpkins have a light touring schedule this year, with only a handful of summer European shows on their 2025 itinerary (pick up tickets here).
