Rod Wave delivered his second new project of 2022 on Friday.
The Jupiter’s Diary: 7 Day Theory EP spans eight tracks, previously released “Break My Heart” among them, with enlisted producers including TnTXD and Will A Fool (among others). The EP continues a prolific streak from Rod, whose Beautiful Mind album arrived back in August.

Alongside the EP, Rod also rolled out the official video for “Got It Right” directed by Dre Beas.
Last week, Rod kicked off his Beautiful Mind Tour featuring Toosii and Mariah the Scientist with a show at the Target Center in Minneapolis. The tour will next bring him to the Nationwide Arena in Columbus before making additional stops in Cleveland, Atlanta, Birmingham, Houston, Los Angeles, and more before coming to a close in late December.
Beautiful Mind, the album, was declared by Rod himself earlier this year to be his “last sad ass album.” The 24-track collection boasted a pair of features from Jack Harlow and December Joy, respectively, and was met with largely positive reviews upon its release.
Amid a promo run in support of Beautiful Mind, Rod made a stop at Complex’s 360 With Speedy Morman, where he revealed why he opted to turn down a Drake collaboration.
As Rod explained it, he simply “wanted that shit to be perfect.” Drake later publicly commended this decision, calling it a sign of “real artistry.”
