Record Store Day 2025: The 27 Must-Have Releases

Record Store Day has revealed its extensive list of limited edition vinyl, box sets, and other speciality releases that will be available as part of its 2025 edition taking place on Saturday, April 12th, 2025.

This year promises exclusive releases from Post Malone (who serves as the 2025 RSD Ambassador), Rage Against the Machine, Wu-Tang Clan, Gorillaz, Taylor Swift, Charli XCX, The Killers, Tom Waits, and more.

Post Malone’s epic Nirvana covers set from April 2020 is being released on vinyl for the first time, with proceeds benefiting MusiCares’ Addiction Recovery/Mental Health division.

Rage Against the Machine will collect completely untouched and unmixed live recordings from their first world tour on Live on Tour 1993.

Wu-Tang Clan has teamed up with producer Mathematics for a brand new album called Black Samson, The Bastard Swordsman, which marks the first release to feature all nine members of the legendary group since 2014.

Gorillaz will mark the 20th anniversary of Demon Days with Live from the Apollo Theater, the first vinyl pressing ever from the recording of their 2006 concert in Harlem, New York.

David Bowie’s landmark 2023 worldwide livestream  in celebration of his album Reality is being released on vinyl under the title, Ready, Set, Go! (Live, Riverside Studios ’03)

Taylor Swift will release a white vinyl 7-inch version of “Fortnight,” her collaboration with Post Malone.

Charli XCX is prepping a pair of releases: a 7-inch pressing of “Guess” featuring her remix with Billie Eilish, and a vinyl release of her 2017 mixtape Number 1 Angel.

Flying Lotus’ recent surprise EP, Spirit Box, is receiving a limited-edition vinyl release.

Gil Scott-Heron’s 1982 album, Moving Target, will be back in print on vinyl for the first time in years.
