Portland-based artist Graham Jonson, known as quickly, quickly, has shared ‘Enything,’ the lead single from his upcoming album I Heard That Noise, set to release on April 18 via Ghostly International.
‘Enything’ showcases Jonson’s signature blend of psych-pop and eclectic sound design, delivering an emotionally resonant yet upbeat track. The song’s biting electric guitars and pulsing rhythm create a dynamic landscape that ebbs and flows, eventually giving way to a delicate acoustic outro. Lyrically, Jonson explores the theme of infatuation and the lengths one might go to impress someone, layering his vulnerable words with sugary harmonies from guest vocalist Julia Logue.
Speaking about the track, Jonson explains:
“I wrote this song from a fictional place of dumb love. There is a place you can find yourself in where you are so infatuated with a person you would do anything to impress them, even to a fault, drastically changing yourself to match the idea of someone you barely know. That is what I tried to embody on this one.”
‘Enything’ captures the creative depth and evolution of quickly, quickly’s sound, giving fans a taste of the ambitious yet intimate musical journey that awaits on I Heard That Noise. The single is now available to stream on all platforms.
