Phoebe Green delivers emotion and vulnerability on new single ‘What Are You Doing’

‘What Are You Doing’ is the latest offering from her forthcoming EP The Container, out March 21.
‘What Are You Doing’ grapples with the lingering questions and self-doubt that follow a toxic relationship. The track showcases Green’s knack for blending shadowy synth-pop with deeply personal storytelling.
Speaking about the inspiration behind the track, Phoebe shared:
“‘What Are You Doing’ explores the mourning of a pretty toxic relationship, coming to terms with how damaging it was in hindsight, but how thrilling and all-consuming it felt at the time. Now that it feels so far in the past it’s impossible not to be curious about what this person is doing, how they’re going about their day-to-day life and wondering if I still take up space in their mind.”
