Patta and Tommy Hilfiger reunite just in time for the gift-giving season.
More than a year after dropping their first collaborative collection, the brands came through with PattaXTommy, a streetwear range that celebrates 1990s hip-hop. The capsule’s campaign aptly stars Mike and Wiki, NYC natives who cooked up a special track in support of the collection. The song, titled “One More,” was produced by The Alchemist and received an official video, directed by Nicholas Stafford Briggs and lifestyle photographer Quil Lemons.
Shot in NYC, the visual aimed to capture the essence of hip-hop culture and its birthplace. The video shows Mike, Wiki, and crew making their way around the Big Apple while rocking key pieces from PattaXTommy. Pieces include T-shirts, rugby polos, pullover hoodies, crewneck sweatshirts, and outerwear, all of which are presented in timeless relaxed fits as well as a mix of bright and understated colors. The standout design, however, is definitely the leather-sleeve varsity jacket with nods to “1993” throughout.
But that’s not all. The team will also drop a limited edition “One More” vinyl that delivers an instrumental version, clean and dirty versions, as well as two additional tracks with Mike and Wiki.
You can check out the “One More” music video via YouTube above. The 18-piece PattaXTommy collection will drop Dec. 2 on PattaXTommy.com, and on Dec. 9 at select retailers. The brands will also offer the collection at a special pop-up shop on Dec. 2-3.
