Nicki Minaj says she’s got her own record label brewing with talent on board. The rapper made the announcement on her Queen Radio show.

A return after a nearly two-year hiatus came with the big news. The only thing the rapper wouldn’t share is the name, which she says will be revealed on the next episode of Queen Radio. So who is on board with the new Nicki Minaj label? London Hill, Tate Kobang, Rico Danna, and Nana Fofie for starters.

This marks the first time Nicki Minaj has ventured into the business side of the music industry. She shared she was eager to create her own label to provide a guiding light to female rappers. “The female rappers before me, I would always say they should have retired as moguls,” she told Budden. “And I would say, ‘Why isn’t there a female version of JAY-Z, who at that time, even when I was coming in, we could see that he was on mogul status.”

“So I was like, “I’m gonna be that person. I’m gonna do that.’ Even what I’ve done, I haven’t done what I want to do, what I need to do, what I will do yet.” Now, the time has come. The would-be mogul’s new label is here.

Nicki Minaj took the stage with Lil Wayne at Rolling Loud in Miami over the weekend. Lil Wayne was billed on the lineup as a special guest and headlined his own stage at the same time as Travis Scott’s performance—his first major headlining festival since the Astroworld tragedy. As Lil Wayne rapped through his classics, Nicki Minaj walked out slowly on stage to rap her verse on “BedRock.” The crowd went wild at her appearance, with Lil Wayne referring to her as ‘The Queen of Hip-Hop.’

Nicki Minaj and Lil Wayne then rapped several of their songs, including “Truffle Butter” and “High School.” The set wasn’t without its problems, though, as Minaj experienced problems with her earpiece not being synchronized to the speakers.
