Nandi Bushell has added a new dimension to her impressive music skills. The 14-year-old prodigy has posted a TikTok video of herself playing drums to the Led Zeppelin classic “Good Times Bad Times” while wearing high heels.
Taking on the late John Bonham’s drum parts is hard enough (after all, he did top Consequence‘s list of the 100 Best Drummers of All Time), but Nandi takes it one step further, handling the bass drum with precision in her stilettos.
The video also promotes Nandi’s next single, “The Only One,” which arrives on March 3rd. The caption reads, “‘The Only One’ my next single – 3rd of March 2025! Until then enjoy me performing one of the greatest rock songs ever ‘Good Time Bad Times’ by @ledzeppelin in gold high heels.”
Consequence has been following Nandi since she was still in single digits, and we named her our 2021 Rookie of the Year after she engaged in a headline-making drum-off with Dave Grohl and co-wrote a song with Tom Morello.
In addition to mastering the drums, Nandi also plays guitar, bass, saxophone, keyboards, and sings. “The Only One” will follow previous singles “Sweet Nightmares” and “The Shadows.”
