Mongolian metal band The HU are about to embark on a North American tour supporting the legendary Iron Maiden. In celebration of the outing, The HU have unveiled a cover of the Maiden classic “The Trooper.”
The North American leg of Iron Maiden’s “Future Past Tour” kicks off Friday night (October 4th) in Chula Vista, California, and runs through a November 17th show in San Antonio, with The HU providing support on all dates. In addition, The HU will play a number of their own headlining gigs on off dates from the Maiden tour. Tickets to all of the shows are available here.

The HU’s lead throat singer Gala stated of the Maiden cover, “The Hu is thrilled to be on Iron Maiden’s ‘Future Past Tour’ in North America. “The Trooper” is a standout track from Maiden’s 1983 album Piece of Mind. The tune landed at No. 2 on Heavy Consequence‘s new list of Iron Maiden’s 10 Best Songs.
