She can’t stop, she won’t stop.
Miley Cyrus is taking heat on social media for making a joke about JoJo Siwa’s sexuality in a video message that played at World Pride over the weekend.
“Oh, my God, I haven’t been in here since sixth grade,” Cyrus, 32, said from inside a closet in the clip.
“Enjoy coming out of the closet if this Pride is the time for you,” the singer continued. “It shouldn’t be a month — it should be a year, it should be infinite.”
Cyrus concluded, “I’m going back inside to get more pretzels and find JoJo Siwa and bring her back out.”
Siwa, 22, realized on “Celebrity Big Brother” in April that she’s “not a lesbian” anymore as she fell for her co-star Chris Hughes. The pair have since confirmed their relationship after Siwa dumped her partner, Kath Ebbs.
Cyrus — who joined the LGBTQ+ community when she came out as pansexual in 2015 — faced backlash online for her comment about Siwa.
“I adore Miley but this isn’t ok. JoJo never went back into the closet, SHE’S STILL QUEER!! Again JoJo being with Chris doesn’t erase or change her attraction to women. Pride month should be about celebrating all members of the LGBT+ community, not about making jibes like this,” one fan tweeted.
“That video her making jokes at jojo siwa’s expense is not cool at all. It makes her seem kinda like a bully in that clip,” another fan wrote.
Someone else said, “Miley doing this, even if it’s a joke, is distasteful. especially considering they’re meant to be friends.”
But other fans stuck up for Cyrus.
“Y’all forget that Miley has also dated men and women, she isn’t ‘clocking’ anyone for being fake or making fun of bi people or dismissing bi/pan people etc Miley is not being biphobic here, it’s just a joke,” a fan wrote on X.
A different user tweeted, “Miley & Jojo are literally friends irl. Jojo is the biggest Miley fan and Miley is always supporting Jojo. She’s just joking with HER FRIEND & HER COMMUNITY that you DON’T own.”
The Post has reached out to Siwa’s rep for comment. A rep for Cyrus couldn’t be reached.
Last year, Siwa told US Weekly that Cyrus “reached out” to her to show support. She even read part of the text that was sent to her via Cyrus’ assistant.
“’Jojo, love to see you out there crushing it. You’re slaying the day always, honey, I live for you. You’ve also made me realize how badly I need dance lessons. These moves are giving girl,’” Siwa read. “And then she said, ‘Loving you, rooting for you, cheering you on from the sidelines forever, Miley.’”
Since confirming her romance with Hughes, 32, Siwa has opened up about the complexities of her sexuality.
“It’s really hard because people tear it apart. I understand if you have no context why people tear things apart… there’s people going through this same thing that I’m going through,” she said in a June 3 interview with Billboard.
“I’ve dated beautiful women, I’ve dated beautiful nonbinary people, I have dated men… but I realize that’s just who I am,” the “Karma” singer added. “I realize for myself that I just like humans.”
Last month, Siwa gushed over her “beautiful” relationship with Hughes in an exclusive interview with The Post.
“Chris is literally, like, [my] best friend, family. I will absolutely be seeing him when I go to the UK,” Siwa stated. “That man has changed my life and I will stand my feet on the ground and I’ll say that.”
“He is meant to be in my life,” she added.
