Metallica, Billy Idol, Eddie Vedder

The Tribeca Festival has announced an impressive lineup of musicians set to attend the 2025 edition of the annual New York City event, which focuses on independent film, but has also expanded to television and music in recent years.

Among the musicians showcasing documentaries at the festival will be Metallica, Eddie Vedder, Depeche Mode, and Billy Idol.

Vedder and Idol will each perform after screenings of their respective films, Matter of Time and Billy Idol Should Be Dead. Members of Metallica will be on hand alongside director Jonas Åkerlund to engage in a conversation after a screening of the documentary Metallica Saved My Life.

Meanwhile, Miley Cyrus will be on hand for the world premiere of her visual album Something Beautiful, engaging in a conversation after the screening. And members of Depeche Mode will discuss their concert film Depeche Mode M, shot in Mexico City in 2023.

Other musicians set to attend or perform include Becky G, Wizkid, and Ty Dolla $ign, while documentaries on Counting Crows and Culture Club will also be screened.

The Tribeca Festival runs from June 4th through June 15th with package tickets available here. Individual film tickets will go on sale to the general public beginning April 29th.
